Tropical Encounters

Tropical Encounters combines both plants and animals in an
exhibit that can't be missed. So take your date to the rainforest, without leaving the city. Tropical animals such as giant river frogs, scorpions, and freshwater stingrays can be encountered, as well as an anaconda! Authentic plants and a "canopy giant" tree are featured for your viewing pleasure. This date will also be educational as you learn amazing facts about the rainforest. Here are a few facts to get you interested. The rainforest, although covering less than 6% of the earth, is home to over half of all plants and animals. Come prepared to experience the tropical rainforest at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
